Journal of Organic Farming of Medicinal Plants (JOFMP) is open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes high-quality scientific research articles on advances and innovations in organic/sustainable production systems of medicinal and aromatic plants, herbs, and spices. The journal is published quarterly.
JOFMP aims to act as the central focus for a wide range of studies into agroecological and organic approaches to medicinal and aromatic plants. The Journal publishes work of a sound scientific or economic nature related to any aspect of organic farming in medicinal and aromatic plants, herbs, and spices studies.
Organic farming avoids the use of synthetic compounded fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulators; livestock feed additives, and genetically modified organisms. Papers on these topics will not be published, although the Journal does report comparative studies between conventional, sustainable, and organic production systems.
JOFMP will especially welcome original interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary contributions. Papers with farming system comparisons are welcome. The journal does also cover scientific reviews, book reviews, science-based concept notes, short communication, and invited papers on specific topics.
